Biography
Saint Fulrad of Saint Denis, brought into the world affluent. Benedictine monk at the St. Denis monastery close Paris, France where he was picked abbot in 750. Utilizing his position and family riches, he extended the nunnery and its responsibility for terrains just as establishing new religious communities in Alsace-Lorraine and Alemannia. Coutier, pastor and guide to both Pippin and Blessed Charlemagne. Representative. Made a trip to war with Charlemagne, helped got ecclesiastical endorsement for Pepin as ruler, and was close by for the most noteworthy occasions in the development of the early kingdom of the Franks. Representative for Pippin when Ravenna was given the Papal States in 756. Attempted to guarantee nearer ties between the Franks and the Vatican.
