Biography
Saint Septimus of Carthage was a monk in the monastery of Gafsa, Tunisia. He was arrested alongside seven other Christian faithful and taken to Carthage. There they were tempted with rewards to denounce Christianity but none of them did. Because of their strong faith, they were executed. They were among many in the period who died for their faith during the Arian heresy. Date of birth is unknown but born in Tunisia, North Africa.
