Saint’s Biography
Saint Thomaides of Alexandria was the wife of a fisherman. She died trying to fight a rapist (father in law). St. Thomais considered martyr.
St. Thomaides of Alexandria Death
She was struck with a sword in 476 in Alexandria, Egypt. Thomais was buried in the cemetery of a local monastery and her remains later transferred to Istanbul, Turkey.
