Saint’s Biography
Saint Valéry was born around 560 AD in France from a poor family. He worked at his father’s farm but wanted more in life. Walaric pleaded with a teacher at school for wealthy children to teach him the letters. He entered the monastery of Luxeuil in 594, where he was a disciple of Saint Columbanus.
