St. Verano of Cavaillon Biography
St. Verano of Cavaillon was also known as Veranus of Cavaillon. He was ordained in 540 AD and later lived as a hermit in Vaucluse, France. He also went on a pilgrim to Rome, Italy. he was the Bishop of Cavaillon, France in 568 AD. Godfather of King Theodoric II. His miracles, which included freeing a captive dragon and miraculously healing the foot of a nobleman, which had withered after the nobleman had kicked Verano for not delaying Mass as requested, are mentioned by Saint Gregory of Tours.
