Saint’s Biography
Saint Vivenzio of Blera was a priest later the bishop of Blera, Italy 457 to 484. He was known for his opposition to the pagan and corrupt local nobility. They accused Vivenzio by bribing his servants to put women’s clothes in his rooms. He denied any wrongdoing and opted to leave in a cave to atone for the sins of his accusers. Vivenzio stayed there for 7 years and finally went blind.
