Saint’s Biography
Saint Volusian of Tours was a layman who suffered for years from a terrible marriage. In 488 he held the office of the imperial Roman senator in Tours, France. Later, Volusian became the bishop of Tours that same year. In the year 496, he was banished by Arian Visigoth to Spain. May have been martyred, but records are unclear.
