Christ, the King Catholic established in 1949 under the Sisters of Mercy (Sisters Bernardine and Janet). It had enrolled 45 students from kindergarten through fourth grades, in 1950 Mrs. Helen Schmidt joined the faculty as principal and each year staff and added through eighth grade. A new building complete holding 122 pupils in 1954.
The school Discontinues grade seven and grade eight in 1974. In 2004, it added six classrooms, a new office, and a resource room. The school continued its growth by building a music room, an art room, a library, and a new 4th-grade classroom, and two preschool rooms. Spanish classes added that same year by reconstructing the 4th-grade classroom.

Christ the King offer different activities
Students in the 3rd through 6th grades given the opportunity to run for office as a class representative. Candidates entering 5th and 6th grades can serve as president and vice president, The school council meets after school every month

Age of 5 on or before September 1st may enter kindergarten.
1 language arts (English, reading, literature, phonics, oral and written communication, handwriting, spelling)
