Morning Prayer to be Prayed By Children Dear God, Thank you for the gift of a brand new day. As the sun rises, help us to shine with kindness and love in everything we do. Thank you for our parents, guardians, and siblings and bless our family, neighbours and friends. Keep them safe and happy throughout the day. Guide us to be good friends and to make good choices. Thank you for our health, the food we eat, the clothes we wear, and the roof over our heads. Help us to be grateful for all the wonderful things you have provided for us in our lives. Please give us strength and courage to tackle and persevere the challenges ahead. Help us to be wise, patient and understanding, just like you are with us. We thank you for our schools, teachers and support staff and watch over us at school and at play. May we learn new things and make new friends. Let us be a light to others, sharing your love wherever we go. We trust you with our day, dear God. Thank you for being with us always. In Jesus’ name, we pray.
