Saint’s Biography

Pope Saint Anicetus was John’s son. Little is known of his life before the election as the 11th Pope. Anicetus stood firm against Gnosticism and changed that the men of the Church should not have long hair; 1 Corinthians 11:14 and helped ordained pastors in Italy.

He died in 166 of natural causes.
