Saint’s Biography

Saint Anthimus of Rome was a pastor in Rome, Italy, known for his conversions, including that of a Roman prefect. The change of faith of the official made Anthimus target of Roman officials who condemned him to drown but was saved by an angel. Anthimus continued his work and was later recaptured and martyred.
