Saint’s Biography
Saint Asaph of Llanelwy was related to St. Deiniol of Bangor and St. Tysilo. St. Asaph joined a hermit near Tenegal, Wales and was a servant to and spiritual student of Saint Kentigern. Later he became the second bishop of the Welsh diocese now known as Saint Asaph. St. Asaph died in 550 AD of natural causes.
