Saint’s Biography
Saint Augurius the Martyr was a deacon in Tarragona, Spain. In 259, he was arrested by the Roman governor Emilian. Augurius was martyred in the persecutions of Valerian. St. Augustine of Hippo praised him and his fellow martyrs.
