Saint’s Biography
Saint Britto was the bishop of Trier, Belgic Gaul Germany in 374 and a leader of the Church in Gaul. Britto attended the council of the episcopate of Gaul in Valencia on 12 July 374 and in 382 to that of Rome, called by Pope Damasus. Britto was friends with Saint Ambrose of Milan and Saint Martin of Tours. He tried to convert pagans but failed, but still refused to surrender them.
