St Dionysius was a Christian born in the 3rd century in Asia and died as a martyr in a Roman prison in 304 AD. We celebrate his feast day on May 12 every year in the Catholic Church.
Saint Dionysius of Asia uncle and Caretaker of Saint Pancras. The two were arrested for converting to Christianity in Italy during the persecutions of Diocletian. Dionysius died in a Roman prison.
