Saint’s Biography
Saint Domitian of Huy was a priest and later bishop Tongres, Belgium. He spoke against the belief of heretics and pagans. In 549 St. Domitian opposed heretics at the Synod of Orleans. He was able to establish several churches and health facilities to care for the spiritual and physical needs of the people. St. Domitian was well-known for his generosity, his fund-raising abilities that helped ease a famine, and his work against heretics. He died in 560 and his tomb built at Huy, Belgium.
