Saint,s Biography
Saint Drogo was Born to the Flemish nobility. His mother died when she was giving birth to him. Drogo learned this, and it caused an emotional impact on him. He held himself. This happened when he was just 10. Drogo become an orphaned when he was a teenager.
At age eighteen, he gave his property became a penitential pilgrim. He traveled to Rome about nine or ten times. Saint Drogo became a shepherd for six years, working for a woman named Elizabeth de l’Haire.
He was a hard-working man who witnesses claim seeing Drogo working in fields simultaneously and going to Mass every Sunday. Drogo had a disease that left him deformed frightening the people. A cell was built attached to his church to protect the townspeople from his appearance.
St. Drogo stayed in his cell with only a small window that he received the Eucharist and getting his food. For 40 years Saint Drogo surviving on barley, water, and the Holy Eucharist.

He died in 1186 AD at Seboug, France.
