St Engelmer was a hermit near Passau, Germany. He was born in the 10th Century AD in Germany and died as a martyr in 1096 AD in Passau, Germany. We celebrate his feast day on May 14 every year in the Catholic Church.
Saint Engelmer was the son of a poor worker and was known for his piety and Devotion. Engelmer retired as a hermit in Germany and was slain by a treasure hunter and died as a martyr in 1096 AD.
