Blessed Felipe de Jesús Munárriz Azcona was born on 4 February 1875 AD in Allo, Navarra, Spain. He was born to a pious family and he became a Claretian priest. As did two of his brothers. He then joined the Claretians in 1886 AD. He studied at Santo Domingo de la Calzada. Felipe was then ordained in 1898 AD.
