Saint Fergus the Pict was also known as Fergus Cruithneach. He May have lived in both Scotland and Ireland. Cleric. Voyaging priest in Ireland. Evangelist in the districts of Perth and Caithness in Scotland.
Established holy places devoted to Saint Patrick at Strageath, Blackford, and Dolpatrick in Perthshire; Wick and Halkirk, in Caithnessshire; and Lungley (presently Saint Fergus), in Aberdeenshire.
Settled in Glamis in c.710. Gone to a synod in Rome, Italy in 721 which censured divination and unpredictable relational unions.
