Saint Frodobert of Troyes Life History

Saint Frobert was educated in the cathedral school at Troyes, France. He later became a Benedictine monk at Luxeuil Abbey where he was a spiritual student of Saint Waldebert of Luxeuil.

In 655 AD, he founded and served as its first abbot the abbey of Moutier-la-Celle near Troyes, France. He became very renowned for his devotion to prayer and very strict lifestyle.
