Blessed Franciscus Bae Gwan-gyeom
Blessed Franciscus Bae Gwan-gyeom was also known as Francis. He was a Layman martyr in the apostolic vicariate of Korea.
He was born in 745 AD in Dangjin, Chungcheong-do, South Korea and died on January 7 1800 in Cheongju, Chungcheong-do, South Korea. Pope Francis beatified him on August 15 2014.
On September 20 we also celebrate him as one of the Martyrs of Korea.
Blessed Leandro

He was linguistic and knew the following languages; Latin, Greek, Arabic, Hebrew and Chaldean. He also taught theology and the Bible, and wrote commentaries and poetry.
He died at the Mercedarian monastery of Santa Eulalia in Murcia, Spain due to natural causes.
Saint Anastasius of Sens
St Anastasius of Sens was also known as Anastasius XVIII. He was the Archbishop of Sens, France from 968 AD to 977 AD and started construction on the cathedral there.
He was also a great supporter of the monks of Saint-Pierre-le-Vin. He died in 977 AD in Sens, France due to natural causes.
His relics are in the monastic church of Saint-Pierre-le-Vin.
Saint Valentin II of Terni
St Valentin II of Terni was also known as Valentine. He was the bishop of Terni, Italy in 494 AD and was consecrated by Pope Gelasius I where he served for 39 years.
He died in 533 AD in Interamna (modern Terni), Italy.
He was buried at the church of San Zeno, Rocca San Zeno, Terni.

St Emilian of Saujon was born ata Vannes, France. He was also known as Emilian of Combes, Aemilio or Aemilianus.
He was a benedictine monk at Saujon, France and a hermit in the forest of Combes, Bordeaux, France.
A well-known wine is named after him. He died in 767 AD.
