St. Gregory of Einsiedeln Biography
St. Gregory of Einsiedeln became a Benedictine monk while on Pilgrimage to Rome, Italy. On his way to England, he stopped at the abbey of Einsiedeln, Switzerland where he stayed to join the community. He later became the abbot when the abbey witnessed its greatest growth and fame.
