Saint’s Biography

Saint Isaac of Monteluco was born once in the 4th century in Syria. He escaped from the persecution of the Monophysite. Isaac arrived at Spoleto when Italy was dominated by the Goths. He prayed for three days and three nights in the church of San Pietro. He was accused of hypocrisy.

Saint Isaac also perform miracles when he expelled an evil spirit. It spread among the inhabitants, who did their utmost to offer monk gifts and hospitality. St. Isaac rejected any kind of property and said that a monk who gets properties are no longer a monk. The miracle were written by Pope Saint Gregory the Great.
