Saint Isidora of Egypt was a nun in the monastery at Tabenna, Egypt who worked in the kitchen and pretended to be a simpleton so she could concentrate on her personal piety and prayer life. She avoided being honored by her house by running to the desert hermitage where she spent the rest of her days. She died in 365 AD of natural causes.
