Saint’s Biography
Saint James of Numidia was a deacon in the same church as Saint Marianus. He was imprisoned with him at Cirta, Algeria during the persecutions of Valerian. James’s story was recorded by a fellow prisoner who was not killed. He was tortured and beheaded 6 May 259 at Lambesa, Numidia (Algeria).
