St Maximus of Sabina was a Christian born in the 3rd century AD. He was stoned to death in 304 AD along Via Salaria outside Rome, Italy and died as a martyr during the Diocletian persecutions. We celebrate his feast day on May 11 every year in the Catholic Church.
