Saint’s Biography
Saint Paul of Troas was a Christian missionary who was imprisoned for refusing to sacrifice to pagan idols during the persecution of Decius. After a night in jail, the priests of Diana demanded that he and St. Andrew be delivered to them. The two were whipped, dragged out of town and murdered in Turkey.
