Saint Seraphia the Martyr Biography
Saint Seraphia the Martyr, when Seraphia was still very young, her family fled Syria for Italy to escape the persecution of Hadrian. Orphaned as a young woman, she had many marriage offers, but was attracted to a religious life; she sold all her possessions, gave the money to the poor, and then sold herself into slavery. By her example, she converted her owner, Santa Sabina. A martyr.
