Saint’s Biography
Saint Teresa Kim was born in 1797 in Myeoncheon, Chungcheong-do, South Korea. She was a married laywoman in the apostolic vicariate of Korea. Teresa Kim was arrested, beaten, tortured and executed for being a Christian. Teresa died on 9 January 1840 in Seoul Prison, South Korea.
