St Vicente Liem de la Paz was also known as Vinh-son Le Quang Liem or Vincent Liêm Quang Lê.
He was a Dominican friar. He was born in 1732 in Trà Lu, Nam Ðinh, Tonkin, Vietnam.
He was beheaded and died as a martyr on November 7 1773 in Ðong Mo, Tonkin, Vietnam.
We celebrate his feast day on November 24 every year in the Catholic Church as one of the Martyrs of Vietnam.

St Vicente Liem de la Paz Biography
St. Vincent Liem was born to the Tonkinese nobility and studied in the Philippines.
He then joined the Dominicans in 1753 making his profession in 1754. Vincent was ordained in 1758 and returned to Tonkin in January 1759 where he was on a mission.
He was imprisoned for preaching Christianity and to prisoners and killed in the persecutions of Trinh Sam.
