Prayer for the Catholic Church

Morning Prayer for the Unity of the Catholic Church Heavenly Father, as we come before you on this new day, we lift up our hearts in prayer for the unity of the Catholic Church. Your Son, Jesus Christ, prayed that we may all be one, just as He and you are one. We recognize the importance of unity within the Church, and we humbly seek your guidance and grace to strengthen the bonds that unite us. Pour out your Holy Spirit upon the leaders of the Catholic Church, especially our Holy Father, Pope Francis, and all bishops, priests, and religious. Grant them wisdom, discernment, and a spirit of collaboration as they work together to shepherd your people. Lord Jesus, you are the cornerstone of the Church. Help us, as members of the body of Christ, to build upon that foundation with love, understanding, and a commitment to the teachings of the Gospel. May we be quick to forgive, slow to judge, and always ready to extend a hand of fellowship to our brothers and sisters in faith. We pray for those who may be experiencing division, misunderstanding, or discord within the Church. Soften our hearts, Lord, and help us to see the common ground that unites us. May our shared faith in you be the source of our unity and strength. Bless all the faithful with a spirit of ecumenism, so that we may work towards unity not only within the Catholic Church but also with our Christian brothers and sisters across denominations. May the love we have for one another be a witness to the world of your transformative power. We entrust the Catholic Church into your loving care, asking for the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church, and all the saints. May their prayers guide us towards a deeper unity rooted in love and faith. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, we pray.
