St Lambert of Saragossa was also known as Lamberto, or Lambertus. He was a farmer and servant during the period of the Muslim occupation of Spain.
He was beheaded in 900 AD and died as a martyr by his Saracen master. His jawbone was enshrined in Maastricht, Netherlands.
A monastery named after him was built on the traditional site of his execution in 1522, but it was later destroyed in 1808.
Blessed Arnaldo of Liniberio
Blessed Arnaldo of Liniberio was a Mercedarian prior in Barcelona, Spain. He ransomed 156 Christians in Morocco and 32 in Granada, Spain who had been enslaved by Muslims.
He died of natural causes and was buried near the altar of the church of his convent in Barcelona, Spain.
Saint Hildegrin of Chalons
Saint Hildegrin of Chalons, also known as Hildegrin of Werden was the younger brother of Saint Ludger of Utrecht.
He worked with Ludger to evangelize the Saxons and became bishop of Chalons-sur-Marne, France, in 802 AD.
Later in life, he retired to live as a Benedictine monk at Werden Abbey in Germany, where he was later elected its abbot. He died in 827 AD of natural causes.
