Blessed’s Biography
Blessed Alexandrina di Letto was born in 1385 in Italy. At age 15, she joined the clergy. After 23 years as a nun, she founded a monastery in Foligno. Bl. Alexandrina di Letto started a new Franciscan reform, which was blessed and encouraged by Pope Martin V (1417-31).
