Blessed’s Biography
Blessed Andrés Solá Molist was born on 7 October 1895 in the farm of Villarrasa Spain. Andrés Solá parents were Bonaventura Solá and Comas and Antonia Molist. His parents gave Andrea a solid Christian education despite being poor.
Andrea followed his vocation to missionary religious life by entering the Congregation of the Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1909. On 15 August 1914, he made the vows of chastity, poverty, and obedience.
Andrea spent eight long but fruitful years, forming himself as a missionary priest. On September 23, 1922, he received his priestly ordination, and after preparing for his ministry, he was assigned by his superiors to Mexico, where he arrived on August 20, 1923.

He worked as a professor and preacher in the city of Toluca. In 1924 he was sent to the city of León, state of Guanajuato. There he was known for his preaching and enthusiasm.
When the persecution against the Church in the whole country broke out, in the area where León is located, Father Solá distinguished himself for his boldness and courage, risking his own life in the care for the sick and poor
