Blessed Dionisio Senmartin was a Mercedarian friar born in the 13th century AD and died in 1350 AD at in North Africa. We celebrate his feast day on May 22 every year in the Catholic Church.

Bl Dionisio Senmartin was a priest known for his devotion as he prayed in purgatory for souls. In 1279 Dionisio helped to release 216 slavery Christians in Muslim in Tunis, Tunisia.
He encouraged and preached throughout the region as they traveled.
