Blessed’s Biography
Bl Edward Jones was born in Wales and was raised as an Anglican, later converted to Catholicism. In 1587, he studied at the English College in Rheims, France and Ordained in 1588. Edward Jones returned to England to minister to covert Catholics and was arrested in 1590 in a grocer‘s in Fleet Street in London, England. Edward Jones was Imprisoned and tortured in the Tower of London for the crime of being a priest.
Death
He was hanged, drawn and quartered on 6 May 1590 on Fleet Street in London, England.
