Blessed’s Biography
Blessed Elisabetta Berti was married and widow very young. She donated all her assets for the release of Christians who were enslaved by invading Muslims. Elisabetta assisted Blessed Eulalia de Pinos, Blessed Maria Requesens and Blessed Maria de Cervellon in building the first Mercedarian community. Worked with the sick and recently released slaves.
