Bl. Francisco Pacheco Biography

Bl. Francisco Pacheco was born to the Portuguese nobility and joined Jesuit priests in 1592. In 1598, he went on a mission in India, Macao and lastly Japan in 1604.

He went back to Japan but was later exiled in the anti-Christian prosecutions. He returned to Japan to assist his fellows as well as ministering to convert Catholics. In his last days, he was imprisoned, abused and finally executed for his missionary work.
