Blessed Luis Bertrán, a relative of St. Louis Bertrán. Joined the Dominicans in 1611 at Santa Catalina Monastery in Barcelona, Spain. Priest. Missionary to the Philippines 1618. Missionary to Japan 1623; He worked the rest of his life in the Omura region. He brought many to faith, especially the work with Dominican universities.
