Biography

Blessed Milon of Thérouanne, Premonstratensian monk. First abbot of the religious community at Dommartin, France. Bishop of Thérouanne, France in 1131 where he served for a long time. Attempted to renew and change his pastorate during a time of spiritual laziness and careless order. Established two Premonstratensian nunneries. Big supporter of St. Bernard of Clairvaux’s work.
