Biography
Blessed Parthenius of Thessaly, Bishop, known for his ascetic lifestyle, in which he gave his life to the poor. He gave away all his possesions to the poor. Withdrew to live as a herder, in order to spend time alone praying. Often including prayers for the cattle in his care.
