Blessed Petrus of Saint Mary Biography
Blessed Petrus of Saint Mary, at age 13 Peter began to study catechism. Blessed Luis Bertrán was his teacher. He supported the work of the missionaries, gave his reward for the purchase and strengthened the faith of the new Christians. During a period of persecution, he hid from the authorities in a colony but was found and imprisoned in Kuwara, Japan. In prison, he was admitted as a brother to the Dominicans. Martyr.
