Biography
Bl. Pietro of Treia was born to a wealthy family and became devoted to the Archangel Gabriel from a very early age. He turned his back on the wealth he had and joined the Franciscan friars minor. Pietro then spent his life travelling the region of Ancona, Italy while living in the Franciscan monasteries during contemplative prayer and eloquent preaching.
He received a vision of the Blessed Virgin Mary placing baby Jesus into the arms of Saint Conrad of Offida, a Franciscan friar brother while he was at the Convent of Forano in Italy.
