Blessed Pjetër Çuni Biography
Blessed Pjetër Çuni, studied at the Pontifical Seminary in Shkodra, Albania, and theology at the Propaganda Fide Congregation in Rome, Italy. On March 23, 1940 ordained priest of the Archdiocese of Shkodrë Pult in Albania. Served in several mountain village communities. Imprisoned, tortured and thrown into a septic tank during the anti-Christian persecution of the Albanian Communist government. Martyr.
