Blessed’s Biography
Blessed Robert Anderton graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford in 1578, and continued his studies abroad and entered the English College at Rheims, France in 1580. Anderton worked with his friend, Blessed William Marsden who were arrested soon after they sailed to England. He was put to death by Queen Elizabeth I for entering, albeit only by shipwreck, as priests in England.
Death
He died on April 26, 1586, by been hanged, drawn, and quartered on the beach of the Isle of Wight, England.
