St. Hilarion of Gaza Biography

St. Hilarion of Gaza was brought up in an agnostic family. Changed over to Christianity while learning at Alexandria, Egypt as an adolescent. Considered with Saint Anthony the Great in the Egyptian desert in 306. He at that point gave away his riches and presented the eremitical life in the Gaza area of Palestine.
