Biography
Saint Ioannes Baptista Zhao Mingxi was a layman and martyr. This was during the apostolic vicariate of southeastern zhili, China. He was killed in the boxer rebellion trying to save some women and children from the rebels. Born 1844 AD in China, worked as a layman and died on July 3, 1900. He died in Beiwangtou, Shenzhou, Hebei, China. Little else is known about him, because of poor records.
