Saint Augustus of Campania Short life History
Saint Augustus of Campania is also known as Augustus of Caserta. He was driven from Africa by the invading Arian Vandals due to his orthodox Christianity, he fled to Campania, Italy where he spent the rest of his life as a preacher and evangelist.
He died in late 5th century of natural causes and buried in the monastery of Saint Mary Magdalene and Saint Marciano near the present city of Maddaloni in Italy
