Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church Los Angeles Short History

In 1912 Immaculate Heart of Mary Church is formally established as a parish and is dedicated in honor of the Blessed Mother.
The Construction to the present day 700-seat gothic-style church started in the year 1940 at a cost of $75,000 coupled with Archbishop John J. Cantwell solemn dedication of the church in 1941.
In June 2011 Immaculate Heart of Mary starts its church’s restoration and renovation, also on January 29, 2012 Immaculate Heart of Mary celebrated its Centennial Mass with Archbishop Jose H. Gomez as Main Celebrant and with Bishop Edward William Clark, former pastors and associate pastors, and other members of the clergy as co-celebrants.

Rev. Rolando “Rolly” Clarin is installed as the eleventh Pastor along with Associate Pastor Rev. Pedro Valdez on the year 2016.
